my name is stephane, I am a french paratrooper in charge of a french group named ABC (AirBorne-Command)... what a coincidence don't you think?

our main issue is to reenact 509th PIB, mostly in southern France, but also in Italy our in the Bulge
we did meet some of your people in August 2009 in Southern France, a very warm year

what we do :

Normandie :
- 2nd platoon E/505th : 38 paratroopers + 6 82nd AB MP's in 2011, including 16 jumpers

PROVENCE :
- 2nd platoon A company 509th CT : we hope to be 20, including 16 jumpers

Bastogne :
- AT section HQ/463rd PFAB

Alsace/Colmar :
- 2eme peloton, 5eme Cie 1er RCP (french paratroops)

Pacific :
- 2nd Platoon, H company 503 PIR/RCT



we have got a staff of 40 paratroopers
each squad is radio linked (4 BC-611, 2 BC-1000 operationnal)
2 bazookas (eventually extended at 5)
2 M1919A4
1 M1919A6
1 60mm Mortar
25 T-10 airworthy parachutes

I do not see any thing more to say right now
